Mesa was built on the spirit of the American West — hard work, self-reliance, personal freedom, and strong communities. As your candidate for Mesa City Council District 5, I will fight to preserve and celebrate our Western heritage against efforts to erase it.

In the West, a cowboy stands for integrity, responsibility, and independence. That same spirit built Arizona and continues to define the best of Mesa. We should proudly embrace these values instead of apologizing for them.

• Protect and promote Mesa’s Western identity, history, and traditions

• Support events and programs that celebrate our cowboy heritage, ranching roots, and pioneer spirit

• Resist policies that undermine American exceptionalism and traditional family values

• Keep Mesa a place where freedom, self-reliance, and personal responsibility are honored

Having escaped communist Yugoslavia, I understand how precious American culture truly is. We must never take for granted the Western values that made this country great.

Las Sendas and Red Mountain Ranch families want to raise their children in a community that still believes in the cowboy code: honesty, hard work, and looking out for your neighbor.
