Homelessness in Mesa

Homelessness is a growing challenge in Mesa that affects public safety, neighborhoods, and those struggling on our streets. As a candidate for Mesa City Council District 5, I believe we need practical solutions that combine compassion with accountability.

My Approach:

• Prioritize treatment and services for those suffering from mental illness and addiction

• Enforce laws against camping in public spaces and illegal activity that harms neighborhoods

• Partner with local organizations to move people from streets into real housing with clear expectations

• Focus resources on programs that produce measurable results instead of endless spending without outcomes

I’ve seen what happens when government policies enable problems rather than solve them. We must balance helping those who want help with protecting the quality of life for families in Las Sendas, Red Mountain Ranch, and across District 5.
